Let's get set for a BBQ spring

As the clocks go forward and our appetite turns to lighter, BBQ-friendly meals, Saucy Fish shares some great barbecued fish tips for the spring. And believe us – once you try fish cooked on a barbie – the days of burgers and bangers will be a distant memory. So, let’s make the most of the surprisingly sunny weather and enjoy some tasty fish dishes in the great outdoors this weekend.

Saucy Chef’s top tips for barbecued fish

Opt for a firm textured fish such as salmon, cod or haddock – why not try the Saucy Fish Salmon fillets with Sunblush® Tomato Dressing

Wait until the coal turns white to cook your fish – patience is a virtue!

Brush the fish fillets with olive oil to stop them sticking to the grill

Grill for 8 – 10 minutes, turning the fish over halfway

Remove the fish from the grill just before it’s done (it continues cooking for a few more minutes after it’s taken off the heat)

(Saucy Chef’s Tasty Tip – Skewering your fish is another quick and easy option – just chop up your fillet then barbecue for a bite sized alternative – great for when you have guests over. Serve with a crisp summer salad – heaven!)
