The wedding of the century is almost upon us, and here at Saucy – our minds have turned towards delicious finger food ideas to hand out at Royal Wedding street parties this Friday. So here are a few top tips to make sure you celebrate like Royalty this Bank Holiday weekend:
Opt for a fresh take on traditional finger food
Think mini portions of fish and chips wrapped in newspaper, our Saucy-centred fishcakes cut into bitesize pieces and served on a cocktail stick, and sandwich rounds with delicious prawns and Marie Rose Sauce for a posh take on everyone’s favourite – prawn cocktail sandwich.
Don’t dismiss a salad
Salads are quick, easy and the perfect dish to eat al-fresco – plus you don’t have to worry about heating them up! Why not serve a big bowl of potato salad that party-goers can dig into, and add that little extra something with a sprinkling of crispy bacon.
Get the Barbie out
Barbecues are a great way to feed Royal-revellers quickly and heartily. Saucy Chef’s Tasty Tip: Chop up Saucy’s Salmon Fillets into bitesize pieces, skewer, barbecue and serve with Watercress and crème fraiche dressing on the side – scrumptious.
Remember refreshments
What better drink to toast the happy couple than the classically British Pimms and lemonade. Add cucumber, apple, strawberries and mint for the ultimate refreshment.

My family love your salmon with chilli, lime and ginger sauce but we usually find we would like to have more, do you do the sauce on it’s own or is there any way to get more thanks for your time
