Exciting news Saucy fans; as though the introduction of our delicious Seasoned Tuna Steaks with Sweet Soy and Chilli, Salmon with Red Pesto foil bake bag and 1 Perfect Portion range wasn’t enough – we now have another exciting Saucy addition set to tickle your taste buds – Salmon fillets with a Lime and Jalapeño glaze!
The tasty new product will hit shelves next week (the 28 May – put it in your diary) and what with the warmer weather, National BBQ Week nearing (28 May – 3 June) and not to mention the much anticipated Jubilee weekend – the timing for some al-fresco dining could not be better.
And if you feel like really impressing your guests with your outdoor culinary skills, why not give our newest addition a go? The succulent fillets of salmon come with a Mexican inspired glaze that blends the sweetness of limes with a tickle of heat from the jalapeno peppers.
We recommend pan frying or oven cooking the salmon fillets and finishing it off on the barbeque to get that authentic char-grilled finish! By wrapping the salmon in foil brushed with oil, you will help retain the moistness as the succulent fillet cooks in its own juices.
Saucy Chef’s Tasty Tip: Serve with quarters of lime, paprika sprinkled sweet potato wedges with a yoghurt dip to cool down this fiery dish – delish!
